You Are Not Too Young to Be Relevant
The truth is simple and uncomfortable: nobody becomes relevant by waiting. Relevance is built by action. It begins the moment you decide to be useful, to solve a problem, to learn something meaningful, or to contribute positively to your community. The world does not reward potential; it responds to results, no matter how small they begin.
Many youths feel discouraged because their voices are ignored or their ideas overlooked. This can be painful, but it should not be paralyzing. History and everyday life are full of young people who refused to wait for permission before making impact. They started where they were, with limited resources, imperfect knowledge, and little recognition. What separated them was not age or advantage, but courage and consistency.
Being relevant does not mean doing big things immediately. It means doing meaningful things faithfully. It could be volunteering, learning a skill, supporting a local initiative, starting a small service, or simply becoming excellent at what you do. Society may not clap for you at the beginning, but consistent value eventually demands attention.
In a society where opportunities are limited and competition is high, relevance has become the new currency. Those who are relevant are those who can solve problems, adapt, and add value. Youth is not a disadvantage in this reality; it is an advantage. Youth comes with energy, creativity, curiosity, and the ability to learn fast. What matters is how you use it.
Stop waiting for the perfect time, the perfect support, or the perfect platform. Start now. Start small. Start scared if you must. Growth does not come from comfort; it comes from engagement. Every step you take today builds the confidence, competence, and credibility you will need tomorrow.
You are not too young to be relevant. You are only too young to give up. The society may be tough, but it still responds to those who show up prepared, committed, and willing to serve. Decide today to be one of them.
